Title: Filmmaker for Positive Change

Gender: Female

Age: 37

Sun Sign: Pisces

Chinese Sign: Water Rat

Location: Venice,CA - but really wherever I am at the moment, which could be anywhere

About Me:

My favorite thing to do these days is to dance at the beach every morning.   Come join me :)

I'm a filmmaker who focuses on projects that affect positive change.  I love meeting like minded people.  George Orwell said something along the lines of “all art should be political”.  When people view art, it is one of the rare times when they let down their walls of old beliefs and are opening their heart and minds to new ideas.  So I feel that in this age of corporate rule, we really need to use media for positive change.

I love exploring the world and am very curious about how everything fits together and how we can all create more unity and understanding.

I spent three years in Brazil and love how open and free and non-judgemental I found people there.  There is a beautiful spirit and sense of hope there.  The music is a part of life in a way I've never seen anywhere else.  I think dancing is one of the only ways that actively joins your mind/body/spirit.  We all should dance a little everyday, and the world would be a happier, truer place.

I also just got back from spending a couple of months in India.  I found that there is such a spiritual openness there that really is inspiring.  They make it a part of life.

The story of the hummingbird -
“There was a fire in the forest, and all the animals are running around… going nuts.  Then a hummingbird goes to the river and picks up a little bit of water in its beak and puts it on the fire.  The lion sees the hummingbird and says “Hummingbird, what the hell are you doing?  Get out of here.  Protect yourself like everyone else.”  And the hummingbird replies “I’m doing my part.  And what about you?”
